In the News: Agilent’s New Keysight Technologies Begins Operations
Posted in Industry Trends
Last fall, we reported that Agilent Technologies planned to split its electronic measurement business into a new, yet-to-be-named company. This week, 11 months later, Agilent has begun officially operating its test and measurement company as Keysight Technologies. Keysight will offer products for industry segments like communications; aerospace and defense; and industrial, computers, and semiconductors. While the company remains a wholly owned subsidiary of Agilent Technologies at present, expectations are that in early November, the separation will be completed and Keysight will begin trading on the NYSE.
As some of our most trusted and popular test and measurement products, Agilent and HP products will continue to be sold by MATsolutions. And our clients can be assured that we will integrate Keysight products into our product mix as they become available in the used test and measurement equipment market.
For more information about the split and what it will mean to the test and measurement business, you can read an article in Electronics Weekly and also a release on the new Keysight website.
