Overview: The Mahr ULM600 is a ULM-E, or Universal Length Measuring Instrument, and is most often used as a quality assurance instrument in industrial manufacturing environments and a reference instrument for gage and test equipment calibration.
Used for calibration of: High-precision length measurements of precision tooling and parts, including threaded rings, threaded plugs, plain rings, plain plugs, gage blocks, gage balls, and end rods. All measurements are performed in our Accredited 68-degree Cold Room, which is part of our ISO/IEC 17025:2005 Accredited Laboratory
Importance of the Mahr ULM600 in the MATsolutions lab: There are very few accredited calibration labs across the country that have both test equipment and physical/dimensional and mechanical tooling capabilities in one lab. A lab without this range of capabilities in-house has to send out the work to another lab to complete the service, often leading to longer turnaround time, added costs, and less quality control.
